Lesson Plan

Dear grade 3 learners

Today we are going to do some written work. You are going to write a paragraph of 5 sentences about a text you read.

Remember to start you sentences with a capital letter and end your sentence with a full stop. Remember to start the next sentence after the full stop of the previous sentence. You must not write the sentences underneath each other.

Assignments for the day:

1. Read the text on p. 52 in your red DBE book.

   Title: To the mountain

   It is revision of a story you already read before.

2. After reading the story you are going to write five sentences explaining what happened

    to Sam on the mountain. The activity is in your DBE book on p.54.

   

3. Complete the activity at the bottom of p.54 in your DBE book.

    Read the words and listen to the sounds. Write the words into the correct box. You are not

    going to write 5 sentences about the words.

   

You need to do all of the work in your red DBE book please.
