Dear Johann
In this letter, I would like to tell you a little bit more about me. After you read it, you could write back to me and tell me some interesting things about you, too.
My home language is Afrikaans and I can speak English too. I live in the Western Cape province and I really like it when it’s sunny outside. Luckily, our province gets a lot of sunny weather! Cape Town is the capital of our province, but I live in Hartenbos which is four hours away from Cape Town.
I am a student at Hartenbos Primary School. My favourite food is pizza, as well as a “braaibroodjie” because our family loves to braai. I also have a dog. She’s a border collie and her name is Abby. I enjoy watching sport and my favourite teams are the Springboks and the Protea Netball team.
Please write back with a few facts about you. I look forward to reading your next letter.
Regards,
Andrea
