Easy School (https://easyschool.co.za) is a platform that empowers schools, teachers and learners with educational materials, tools and aids.
The content in this document is applicable to all the domains, subdomains and sub-platforms provided by Easy School and is hereafter referred to as the Easy School platform.
Content
The content displayed on the Easy School platform is provided by professional teachers, people involved in the education industry, and sometimes people with valuable opinions or insights applicable to the Easy School platform. We encourage all our contributors to maintain high-quality information, however, we (owners of the Easy School platform, affiliates, or contributors) cannot be held accountable for any content placed on the Easy School platform as the content is not moderated.
Should we be made aware of any content that is harmful or is unlawful, we reserve the right to remove such content without any notice to the contributor.
The aim of content on the Easy School Platform is to educate and empower teachers, parents, and learners.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media & Uploads
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. The Easy School platform can not be held accountable for any uploads of any kind as we do not moderate content, uploads or media.

For visitors that do not register or log into the Easy School platform, the standard cookies and usage analytics information are stored ie. cookies, etc. For users that register and log into the Easy School platform, where applicable, the information types we store but not limited to are Name, Surname, Billing information, Educational progress, Language, Information relating to the education of the individual, Progress on the Easy School platform, Any identifying number, symbol, e-mail address, telephone number, location information, online identifier, personal opinions, views or preferences of the person, etc.
We keep such information to enable us to provide the services as set out on the Easy School platform.
Sharing of data
Your personal information is very important to us and as such we take great care not to share your personal information, data, or analytics. We will only share relevant information with the authorized personnel of the school in question where applicable. Such information might include but are not limited to, online test results, assignments, lessons, etc.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

The Easy School platform will enable basic security measures for the protection of data.
We feel strongly about protecting our users and their information and therefore we wish to advise all users never to share personal information on any public platform. Never provide or place any personal contact or address information where it can be accessed by other users on the Easy School platform. The Easy School platform cannot be held accountable and cannot be held liable for any breach of security of any kind or any damages that might be incurred.
